Projects Overview
Golden Aria's main exploration property is
the 2,080 acre Coteau Lake area of Southern
Saskatchewan, Canada. The prolific Williston
Basin underlies this area of Saskatchewan as seen below:

Golden Aria decided to focus in this area due to several key factors:
- 1) Prolific nature of the Williston Basin, billions of barrels of oil produced to date.
- 2) Saskatchewan is one of the few areas
in North America where conventional crude oil production has actually
doubled in the past ten years.
- 3) Saskatchewan is Canada’s second largest oil producer, accounting for almost 17% of Canadian production.
- 4) 70% of the current production is exported to the United States.
- 5) Bakken oil shale continues to grow
in importance.
- 6) Cost of land considerably lower than other areas of the Western Canadian Sedimentary Basin.
In South East Saskatchewan, 3,606 vertical wells make up 58% of producing wells and 5,027 horizontal wells make up the other 42% as seen below:
